Specialising across two distinctive divisions, Schoolwear and Sportswear, the business is always looking to maximise opportunities for their brands.

Employing over 180 people across three sites in the UK, the company has achieved significant growth following a management buyout in July 2015, backed by Private Equity Investors. The private equity ownership has enabled the business to invest thoughtfully in technology, people and infrastructure ensuring that they continue to supply their customers with innovative, quality products and excellent service.

Their special blend of skills throughout the business makes them unique; offering a complete start to finish process from design and embellishment, market, manufacture, and delivery of ‘fit for purpose’ garments with the students – the end user, always at the forefront of their minds.

With a diverse customer base ranging from high street retail, wholesale, 24-7 online mail-order and e-commerce, it was essential for the chosen IT solution to provide an all-encompassing system that could overcome the challenges of previous operational systems.

The PrimaNet suite of software provides one solution for the entire group. Working closely with the leadership team at Banner, we have overhauled all their key business processes and simplified their complex international supply chain, strengthening our partnership and providing a cohesive and integrated platform for both organic growth and future acquisitions.

Automatic channel management support across wholesale, retail and e commerce ensures stock is distributed to the right channel to maximise margins whilst real-time stock data ensures consistently high customer service with precise information of available stock and free-to-sell stock across all channels and markets.

Our system accommodates multiple orders from retailers, allowing them to hold, resume and build their order throughout the day, with service advisors able to incentivise retailers to increase spend and benefit from free delivery with a 24-hour turnaround. Allocation of work to personalise, embellish and embroider schoolwear and sportswear is all processed and distributed through the PrimaNet system.

PrimaNet automatically generates purchase orders based on sales forecasts, provides access to historical sales data, and generates a purchase order to volumetric fill containers for the most cost effective and efficient shipping methods.

The same warehouse management system operates two different models across two sites, with specific hanging and boxed storage facilities, including pallet management.
