Supporting TwentyTwenty: Become a Business Partner

TwentyTwenty business partner diagram

Driven by the belief that even the most disadvantaged young people are resources to be developed not problems to be solved, TwentyTwenty have helped over 2000 young people to overcome a raft of challenges and gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed in education and find employment.

A vital part of this success has been the way business partner’s help to shape the design and delivery of their work, interact with the young people in the classroom and at networking events, provide work experience placements, and offer entry level jobs or apprenticeships.

This makes ALL the difference, and truly enables those they work with to succeed and build a bright future for themselves.

Becoming a business partner is exciting, rewarding and is good for your business too.

Taking a direct role in transforming young lives in a measurable way is an enriching experience, and the many volunteer options they provide offer excellent staff development opportunities which truly enhance business related skills within your organisation.

“It is a great pleasure to be working with TwentyTwenty. The people at Prima always enjoy working with the students when they come in for Work Experience, and some of our team have taken the opportunity to work more closely with TwentyTwenty as Mentors. Watching these young people develop, particularly seeing the rise in their confidence and self-esteem is extremely rewarding. The Annual Celebration Events, which TwentyTwenty holds at each Centre, allows the students to talk about their experiences, and demonstrate the difference that a year with TwentyTwenty makes. The progress they make is remarkable, and life changing. Many of them grow from being entirely disillusioned to being focused on their future, and ready for further education, work and life in general. It is a joy to see, and I would encourage other local companies to get involved.” John Norman, Chairman, Prima Solutions
