Recycled plastic bottles find a new life as lightweight knitted trainers for spring/summer ’20.
As part of Paul Smith’s continued move towards greater sustainability, they have introduced the Rocket and Juno trainers, which feature knitted uppers made from 100% recycled polyester.
The polyester used to create the lightweight and flexible uppers on these new trainers comes from recycled post-consumer plastic. This means that the plastic has been used, collected, cleaned and reprocessed so it can be used again.
You could say, when you wear a pair of Juno or Rocket trainers it’s like picking up plastic bottles off the street!
