The Boat Race 2021 will take place on Sunday, 4 April 2021 and our customer, PlayerLayer, has been announced as the official technical kit supplier
The Boat Race is a symbol of tradition, rivalry and holds truly amazing stories from the history of sport. The demands of the Boat Race are extraordinary and will put PlayerLayer’s kit to the test, but whilst the rowers have been meticulously preparing, so have the technical product team.
In sport we talk about marginal gains, rowing is a perfect example. One team, working in unison, with years of extreme training sessions, diet and mental preparation. The kit you wear is a marginal gain. The kit that most top level athletes now wear can hardly be called clothing, perhaps more like equipment due to its specialist design and fabric.
